Dr. Kristel Yocom

Dr. Kristel Yocom grew up in the Northwest Chicago suburbs. She lived in the Caribbean for over 2 years while attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She then went to University of Tennessee and graduated in 2006.  Growing up she always loved animals but it was really seeing the bond between her grandmother and her dog that inspired her career in veterinary medicine. Seeing how much love, joy and purpose a little dog could give someone gave her the drive to want to help people with their pets. She understands how they enrich our lives every day.
Dr. Yocom has worked in the Chicago suburbs for 16 years. Besides general practice she has also worked at emergency clinics and shelters. Second chance pets (rescues) and rescue organizations have always been a passion for her. She has worked with Adopt A Husky Rescue for over 15 years.
Dr. Yocom has a special passion for soft tissue surgery, ultrasound and pain management. She has been doing abdominal ultrasounds for over 15 years. She joined the Sutton Road team in March 2022 and it has been a great fit. She currently lives in St. Charles with her furry babies, a terrier named Wolfie and 2 large cats – Poutine and Gandalf. She loves to travel and most things science fiction – conventions, books or movies.  Her goal is to make sure that all the pets that come to see her are as happy as they can be, no matter how many cookies that takes!

Dr. Agne Stoskute

Dr. Stoskute grew up in St. Charles, IL and received a Bachelor’s in Animal Science from the University of Georgia. During her academic studies there she also competed for the Women’s NCAA Division I Equestrian Team. She then returned to her home state to attend the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Stoskute joined Sutton Road Animal Hospital in August of 2022 after previously working at a busy small animal clinic in downtown Chicago. Her interests include surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine.

Outside of work you can find Dr. Stoskute riding her horse Louie or hiking with her dog Smoochie. She also enjoys trying new recipes and traveling to national parks.

Office Manager

Michelle has loved animals and wanted to work with them her whole life.  She joined our practice in 1998, starting as a receptionist, and working her way around the hospital as a veterinary assistant/technician, and is now part of the practice management team.  She enjoys the variety of duties that her position offers, and can be found helping at the front desk or assisting the doctors and technicians with the animals.
Michelle is married to Chris, and they have two daughters, Isabelle and Emma.  She also shares her house with two standard schnauzers, Loki and Luna, 2 rats named Mia and Willow, and Fluffy the hamster.  When she has free time, she enjoys spending it with her family, hiking and listening to music.

First as a maintenance worker, then as a receptionist for 4 yrs and finally moving into her roll as a Technician and later onto co-office manager.

She moved to Sycamore in 2015 but loves the quiet drive to work. She is married to her husband Matt and they have their 2 kids, Mason and Nora. She has a Labrador named Chunk who loves playing and eating treats more than anything. In her spare time she loves cooking, bowling and hanging out with her family.

Laura grew up in Chicago and moved to the suburbs after marrying. She sold cars for 20 years and then became a stay-at-home mom for a few years before getting back to the working world. She started at Sutton Road in 2005, working as a receptionist and customer care representative. Laura loves interacting with clients and their fur babies and getting them scheduled for the care they need.
